I bought the black GTA new in Feb, 1968 from Brown Bros Ford in Vancouver. The car had 800 miles on it when I bought it and I used it as a daily driver up until 1992. In 1984 it got a motor and tranny rebuild and in 1986 a complete body repaint. In 1990 I got the personalized plate 6T7 GTA and then in 1992 I got a collector plate. In 1993 it got a completely new  front and rear suspension. In 1996 I drove it to California for the Fairlane Club of America national meet where the car got a second place trophy.
