My first car was a 65 Falcon 2 door hardtop. After
three years of constant cruising, the car was retired and parted out. After many years and cars,
the children came along and a mortgage. Finally middle age so I knew I had to
have a cruiser. After scrimping and saving, I was
ready to find and purchase a cruiser, but what to buy?
I always remembered how much fun the Falcon was so I knew I had
to have a Ford. A chance conversation with Zoltan lead me to check out a
1968 Fairlane that a member of the L.M.F.F.C.O.A. had for sale. After crawling
around and under the car I knew this dented, rough looking car would make
a fun project. After purchasing the car I joined the club and have not looked
back since.
